After a year of serving up the thirstiest fashion and pop culture tea, here we are—the same, yet somehow different. This open diary of two tea sippers might just be your best-kept secret; a cosy corner where style and scandal collide. For us, there’s no better place to yap over iconic fits and roast the people lucky enough to wear them. Here’s to another year of sh*t-talking and curating all things taste.
IT’S GIVING FASHION WEEK
👠 What better way to kick off fashion week than with a little shade? Rihanna rolled up late to the Alaïa show in NYC, wearing what looked like an unfinished outfit—of course, the internet had thoughts. Notably, Law Roach and Naomi Campbell had their own, shady opinions.
👠 Trust karma to come through with a hefty dose of Naomi's own medicine just weeks later. She's been banned from serving as a charity trustee, and honestly, it’s about time. While we recognise Ms. Campbell as one of the greatest models of our time, the scandals have been stacking up for way too long. We love our Gemini queens, but even we’ve had enough. This week, a clip from Paris surfaced where she says she’s investigating these issues with a 'legal' (lol) lawyer. From allegedly terrorising yacht girls to stealing money from children in need, Naomi’s cooked.
👠 We are living for the pastels presented in the SS25 shows. Butter yellow made it clear: 'Summer ’24 won’t be the last you see of me, darling.' From soft, creamy tones to bright, warmer hues, designers played with every shade under the sun. Get ready for a visual feast of all things yellow!

👠 When it comes to the top collections from London Fashion Week, look 22 from S.S. Daley is the crown jewel. And yes, we were today years old when we learned Harry Styles has a minority stake in this quirky and quintessentially British brand. You get it girl!
👠 Bury us in every single look from Bally at MFW! The Swiss brand made the right call when they amicably parted ways with former creative director Rhuigi Villaseñor in 2023, following a federal lawsuit accusing him of living the high life on Rhude’s (his LA-based streetwear brand) dime. Bally has since thrived under Simone Bellotti’s creative direction—the lesser-known designer spent 16 years at Gucci.
👠 Prada bugging out was also worthy of a double take at Milan Fashion Week. We’ve missed this kind of humour from the brand, and maybe that’s because Raf is Raf. Miuccia needs to pick up the phone, dial Damien Hirst's number and bring back another Entomology bag collab. ASAP!

👠 Shifting gears to Paris, where Bella made her much-anticipated comeback at Saint Laurent. The first 34 looks were spot on—menswear is in. The rest? Well, let’s just say Anthony Vaccarello might need to take several trips to Marrakech, because the vibe he was channeling from his late predecessor totally missed the mark.
👠 Our thoughts are still brewing on Schiaparelli, but look 35 in particular stood out as exceptionally good. It exudes a matronly elegance, evoking a sense of lifelong commitment—whether to a partner or, perhaps, to oneself.
Missed our debut newsletters? Now there’s no excuse:
👠 Cardi B’s look to the Dazed and Byredo party, right after an online tussle with her ex Offset, was a moment. One thing about a Libra: they’ll never be caught looking a mess, even when they’re dealing with embarrassment from men.
👠 After dedicating Paramore's 'Big Man, Little Dignity' to Donald Trump last week, Hayley Williams swapped her Debbie Harry cosplay to channel something a little more regal punk at Vivienne Westwood’s SS25 show—she's in her fashion era. Love that for her.
👠 In 2013, few could have predicted Jonathan Anderson would transform Loewe into one of the top five most engaging brands, alongside Prada and Balenciaga, but here we are. With its innovation, distinction and unmistakable Spanish flair, the leather goods brand has never quite fit the mould of a traditional coveted label.
Yet, with the support of LVMH and Anderson’s creative genius, Loewe has drawn in stars from around the world—most notably the late, great Dame Maggie Smith, one of Britain’s most celebrated actresses, who passed away on September 27th, the same day Loewe unveiled its SS25 collection in Paris.
Her presence elevated Loewe's image as a brand for icons and enthusiasts alike when she radiated for the camera in what became her final photos. Rest in peace, queen.
👠 As for the brand, we were filled with joy upon reading Cathy Horyn’s latest review of Anderson’s collection, where the fashion critic hinted this might be the Irish creative director’s last show for the house:
And was it his final Loewe show? You could feel that something was up from the unusually large gathering of fellow designers, including Pieter Mulier of Alaia and Sarah Burton of Givenchy, and several top LVMH executives, notably Delphine Arnault, the chief executive of Dior […]. My bet, as long as people in Paris are speculating about fashion’s musical chairs, is that Anderson is in line for Dior.
If anyone can bring Dior back to its glory days, it’s Jonny.
👠 And finally, in non-fashion-week news, Lady Gaga is channeling her former self with full-on method dressing for her Joker: Folie à Deux tour. She stepped out in a custom Celine gown by Hedi Slimane, complete with a matching jacket, dramatic shoulders, wacky hair and bold makeup. The look gave us elevated Harley Quinn vibes, but it didn’t quite scream fashion the way we expect from her. Which begs the question—what designer could truly capture the energy she’s embodying these days? Pierpaolo Piccioli? Rumour has it he’ll be cashing in at Fendi soon, which might spell the end for Kim Jones. Cheers to that!
At this very moment, Alessandro Michele’s Gucci Valentino debut makes its way down the runway, but more tea and takes on that another time. Stay tuned!
Love everyone of these but love this one especially. Made me excited for fashion month again!
